Haven in Secaucus, NJ is hiring a Structural Engineer focused on product development. You'll design and validate new structural systems, prototype components on the manufacturing floor, and push designs into production with cross‑functional teams.
This role emphasizes building reusable, scalable wall assemblies and automated workflows, using AI tools to accelerate calculations while maintaining rigorous engineering oversight. On-site collaboration is essential.
Haven | Secaucus, NJ | Full-Time, Primarily On-Site
Help us rebuild the industrial backbone of American housing.
At Haven, we're transforming how homes are built. We combine advanced manufacturing, cold-formed steel, and software to turn construction from a fragmented, project-by-project process into a repeatable, scalable manufacturing system.
We're looking for aStructural Engineer who wants to build products, not just review drawings.
This isn't a traditional desk engineering role. You'll work directly with our product and manufacturing teams to design, prototype, physically test, and bring new structural systems into production.
Our philosophy is simple:Engineer it once. Validate it once. Manufacture it thousands of times.
Rather than re-engineering every home from scratch, we're building a library of validated structural systems that can be deployed repeatedly, across projects and regions.
You’ll play a central role in making that possible.

Required
You’re an engineer who wants to see your designs become real products.
You enjoy being on the manufacturing floor as much as working through a structural model. You question established methods, experiment intelligently, and constantly look for ways to make systems simpler, stronger, and more efficient.
You don’t want to spend your career solving the same engineering problem on every new project.
You want to solve it once, build the system, and scale the solution.
We’re building more than a construction products company. We’re building the technology and manufacturing infrastructure for a new era of American homebuilding.
You’ll join a small, ambitious team where engineering decisions directly influence products being manufactured, shipped, and installed in real homes.
This is an opportunity to have meaningful ownership over a fundamentally new approach to how housing gets built.
Interested in engineering the future of homebuilding? We'd love to hear from you.
