Job summary

Metromont LLC seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer to design precast concrete systems and manage project design from concept through issuance. You will collaborate with drafters, coordinators, and production teams to ensure cost-efficient, compliant designs.

Required: BS in Civil Engineering, PE license, and 3–7 years of relevant experience with strong communication and detailing skills. Travel to plants may be needed; adhere to safety standards.

Qualifications

• BS Civil Engineering is required; structural emphasis preferred.
• PE Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and details for all products and connections.
• Independently manage engineering design aspects of a project with minimal assistance or guidance.
• Review contract documents to be familiar with project requirements.
• Attend project meetings; may lead coordination meetings.
• Write and review requests for information (RFI).
• Resolve engineering design issues independently.
• Check engineering design calculations and details for accuracy and adherence to Metromont standards.
