Job summary

Metromont LLC is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to design precast concrete systems and components, review drawings, and coordinate with drafter-modelers and project teams. You will ensure designs meet Metromont standards and project requirements while visiting production sites.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering, PE certification, and 3–7 years of relevant experience, with preference for precast knowledge and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• BS Civil Engineering required; structural emphasis preferred.
• PE Certification required.
• 3–7 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Previous precast knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and details for all products and connections.
• Independently manage engineering design aspects of a project with minimal guidance.
• Review contract documents to be familiar with project requirements.
• Attend project meetings and may lead coordination meetings.
• Write and review RFIs and resolve engineering design issues.
