Job summary

ENFRA seeks a highly experienced Structural Engineer PE III to lead structural design efforts on building projects. You will prepare drawings for gravity and lateral systems, verify member sizing, and coordinate with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and other teams to meet safety and code requirements.

You will mentor BIM/CAD staff, perform site surveys, review submittals, and support budgets and schedules. A PE license and 8+ years of experience are required for this role.

Qualifications

• BS in Structural, Civil, or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• PE license required.
• 8+ years of structural engineering experience as a licensed professional.
• Ability to design multi-story buildings and steel/wood/concrete framing.
• Experience with AutoDesk Revit BIM software (7+ years).

Responsibilities

• Designs and prepares drawings for structural systems for building projects.
• Determines size and orientation of all structural members.
• Coordinates project designs with architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other disciplines.
• Performs quality control review of structural drawings.
• Writes and edits structural system specifications for building projects.
• Attends meetings with owners, clients, and architects; prepares meeting notes.
• Coordinates with authorities to ensure code compliance.
• Mentors BIM/CAD staff to ensure quality control.
• Conducts site surveys to determine existing facility conditions.
• Performs project site visits to monitor progress and conformance to design.
• Prepares PRs and SIs; responds to RFIs.
• Reviews submittal documents for compliance.
• Assists in budgets, schedules, contracts, and billing.

Ability to design steel, wood, and concrete framing systems; masonry walls; complex foundations; seismic wind systems
