Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Structural, Civil, or Architectural Engineering with structural emphasis.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 8+ years of structural engineering experience as a licensed professional engineer.
• Ability to design multi-story buildings and steel, wood, and concrete framing systems.

Responsibilities

• Designs and prepares drawings for structural systems to withstand gravity, wind, and seismic loads.
• Coordinates with architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other disciplines.
• Mentors BIM/CAD technicians and other engineers to ensure quality control.
• Conducts site surveys and monitors construction to ensure conformance with design specifications.
