GRAEF, a leading U.S. consulting firm, seeks a Structural Engineer for our Orlando, FL office to work on diverse projects including theme parks, healthcare, higher education, and hospitality.

The role emphasizes collaboration, design, and renovation work within a supportive team. You will design and detail new structures, analyze existing buildings, coordinate across disciplines, and use Revit for documentation.

Formación

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering.
• 3+ years of professional experience in structural design of buildings and structures.
• EIT certification; PE license welcomed to apply.
• Proficiency with Revit and MS Office applications.

Responsabilidades

• Design and detailing of new buildings and structures.
• Analysis and renovations of existing buildings and structures.
• Coordinate with project team members across multiple disciplines and attend project meetings; support construction administration including site visits.
• Use of Revit for construction documentation and coordination.
• Assist senior staff with coordinating, directing, and checking work and managing project scope and schedule.

As a Structural Engineer at GRAEF, enjoy responsibilities that include:

• Design and detailing of new buildings and structures.
• Analysis and renovations of existing buildings and structures.
• Coordinate with project team members across multiple disciplines, attend project meetings, and construction administration including site visits.
• Use of Revit for construction documentation and coordination with project team members.
• Assist senior staff with coordinating, directing, and checking the work of technicians or other engineers and with managing project scope and schedule.

We are considering Structural Engineer candidates to join our team who possess the following basic qualifications:

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in structural design of buildings and structures. Candidates with more experience are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with theme park experience is a plus.
• EIT certified. Candidates who have their PE are welcome to apply.
• Working knowledge of Revit.
• Experience in various structural engineering design software.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and confidently develop solutions to problems.
