CyberCoders is seeking a seasoned Sr. Structural Engineer (P.E./S.E.) to lead the design, analysis, and delivery of building projects in Rockford, IL.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of structural engineering experience, with leadership on building projects.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Structural License is required.
• Proficient in structural analysis, load calculations and foundation design.
• Experience using AutoCAD and Revit for drawings and BIM coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering design and analysis for commercial, residential, and industrial projects, including steel, concrete, precast, and foundation systems.
• Perform detailed load calculations, structural analysis, and foundation investigations to develop safe, efficient designs that meet client requirements and applicable building codes.
• Produce and review structural drawings, specifications, and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit; ensure accuracy and constructability.
• Develop and monitor project budgets and schedules; provide cost-effective design recommendations and value engineering solutions.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and clients to resolve design issues, review submittals, and support construction phases.
• Provide technical mentorship and oversight to junior engineers and drafters; conduct design reviews and quality assurance checks.

Salary: $110,000 - $170,000 (Based on Experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Structural Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and delivery of building and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, efficient, and code-compliant structural solutions across steel, concrete, and precast systems, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior engineers while managing project budgets and schedules.

• Perform detailed load calculations, structural analysis, and foundation investigations to develop safe, efficient designs that meet client requirements and applicable building codes.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with AutoCAD and Revit for producing and reviewing structural drawings and BIM coordination.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and client communications; ability to provide value engineering recommendations.
