KPFF Columbus seeks a Structural Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our growing team close to home. You will lead project efforts from concept through construction, collaborate with engineers, BIM professionals, and clients, and contribute to nationwide, high-profile projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering; Master’s preferred
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Minimum 4 years of structural engineering design experience
• Proficiency with ETABS, RAM Structural System, RISA-3D, or similar
• Strong knowledge of IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC
• Experience with BIM software such as Revit
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of structural engineering projects from planning to delivery
• Perform structural analysis and design for various building types
• Coordinate with clients and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Participate in feasibility studies, site investigations, and structural assessments
• Prepare, review, and coordinate drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports per codes
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
• Support KPFF’s mission of a perpetual organization with happy people and clients
• Promote compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
