Job summary

Keen Project Solutions, LLC seeks an entry-level Structural Engineer to support design for ag and industrial projects. You will perform calculations, assist with structural drawings in Revit, and participate in site observations under supervision.

Qualifications include pursuing a BS in structural-focused civil/architectural engineering, aiming for PE/SE licensure, strong communication, and familiarity with Revit, Navisworks/Recap, and Risa. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in architectural engineering or civil engineering with a Structural Engineering emphasis.
• Be willing to work towards their Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) License.
• Possess good oral and written communication skills, and comfortable presenting design solutions to Owners.
• Have completed courses on structural analysis and structural steel design. Courses on structural reinforced concrete design or foundation design are a plus.
• Experience using Revit, 3D software (Navisworks/Recap), Risa structural engineering design software, and Microsoft Office software is beneficial.
• Travel up to 25% or as needed, by air and ground.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the structural design portion of projects and oversee completion of drawings, specs, and reports under the Sr. Structural Engineer.
• Communicate effectively to keep team and customers informed throughout the design process.
• Be organized and manage time and tasks effectively.
• May assist with scope development, site investigation, specification and technical writing, and development of engineering standards.
