Job summary

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers (KIE) has an opening for a dynamic Structural Engineer Intern in our Design Engineering Services Group based in Lone Tree, CO. You will contribute to structural/bridge design calculations and use engineering software to support design efforts across multiple disciplines.

Pursuing a Master’s degree in Structural/Civil/Architectural Engineering (ABET accredited) with GPA 3.0+ is preferred, along with strong communication skills and a willingness to work on-site at

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master's degree or higher in Structural Engineering, Civil or Architectural Engineering (with Structural emphasis) from an ABET accredited college or university.
• GPA above 3.0 preferred
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Familiar with structural analysis and design software such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, MathCAD, Navisworks, SAP2000, RISA-3D etc.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to perform field and office assignments
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Produce simple structural/bridge design calculations.
• Review and check structural/bridge design calculations.
• Perform analysis using structural engineering software
