Job summary

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers (KIE) has an opening for a dynamic Civil and/or BIM Design Intern in our Digital Delivery Group. You will join the Infrastructure Design Department to support design-build delivery of infrastructure projects from Lone Tree, CO.

As an intern, you will work with engineering teams to develop civil designs, use Civil 3D for design documents, participate in design reviews, and maintain task progress while adhering to CAD standards.

Qualifications

Pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in CAD, Engineering Technology, Construction Management (BIM focus) or similar program experience.
Experience in basic civil CAD design and production of design documents preferred.
Knowledge in Autodesk Civil 3D is a plus.

Responsibilities

Work with engineering teams to develop civil designs for infrastructure projects, supporting construction activities.
Use Civil 3D to produce design for estimate and construction documents.
Participate in design reviews to evaluate concepts and make recommendations.
Maintain status of assigned tasks on team schedule.
Follow CAD and quality standards.
