Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers (KIE) has an opening for a dynamic Structural Engineer Intern in our growing Design Engineering Services Group, based in Lone Tree, CO. You will join a multidisciplinary team within Infrastructure Design, contributing to structural, geotechnical, civil, drainage and roadway projects.

Responsibilities include producing and reviewing design calculations, and using structural software to analyze projects.

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers (KIE) has an opening for a dynamic Structural Engineer Intern in our growing Design Engineering Services Group. You will be part of our rapidly growing Infrastructure Design Department, which includes structural, geotechnical, civil, drainage, roadway, rail, and materials disciplines, is a multi-faceted and leading-edge division of Kiewit with best-in-class technical expertise focused on the design-build delivery of infrastructure projects.

This position will be based out of our Lone Tree, CO office.

• Analysis using structural engineering software

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master'sdegree or higher in Structural Engineering, Civil orArchitectural Engineering (with Structural emphasis) from an ABET accredited college or university.
• GPA above 3.0 preferred
• Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Familiar with basic structural analysis software and engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, MathCAD, Navisworks,SAP2000, RISA-3D etc.
• Strong work ethic - willing to do what it takes to get the job done
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Be willing to fully participate in job assignments at the job site, district office or department to which the intern is assigned

Base Compensation:$20.00/hr-$25.00/hr
