Job summary

Ellenco Estágios e Treinamentos is seeking a dedicated Structural Engineer II/III to deliver industrial project design and analysis. You will develop structural concepts, produce calculations, and sketch structures with AutoCAD, while coordinating with other engineers and disciplines.

The role requires hands-on site visits, data collection, and adherence to codes and procedures. Strong communication and a minimum of 8 years in civil/structural engineering are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering and minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required; SE license is preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 25% to project sites.
• Experience in structural design calculations and codes (ASCE 7, IBC).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Conceptual Design of Structural Supports.
• Prepare Structural Calculations and Analysis (ASCE 7, IBC, etc.).
• Provide Structural Design Sketches for Designer/Drafter with AutoCAD.
• Perform site walks and inspect existing facilities.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and travel to project locations up to 25%.
• Review vendor drawings and ensure design compliance.
