Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. in Conroe, Texas designs and builds towers and foundations for utility and telecom applications, delivering robust, code-compliant structures that support critical infrastructure across communities nationwide.

The role focuses on the structural design of new towers, foundations, and antenna mounts, and on the analysis of existing towers with revised loading. The engineer will seal reports as the PE of record, develop engineering spreadsheets, and mentor junior staff,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering is required.
• 3 to 7 years as a licensed Professional Engineer.
• Experience with structural design of towers and foundations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs new towers to meet Building Code requirements
• Designs foundations based on soil information received
• Analyzes existing towers, foundations and antenna mounts for loading changes
• Completes structural modification designs
• Applies structural engineering principles to designs
• Provides detailed calculations to verify results
• Provides technical advice to Program Managers and field personnel
• Helps educate Engineer I staff
• Performs other duties as needed or assigned
• Report for work on time and fulfill shift responsibilities
• Complete all responsibilities during assigned shift
• Engage respectfully with coworkers and foster teamwork
