Job summary

Cromwell Architects Engineers invites a Structural Engineer I to join our team. You will design structural framing and foundations for diverse facilities and review documentation from design through construction.

You will collaborate with architects and engineers, perform site visits, and support revisions using REVIT and related tools. A PE license and 5+ years' experience are preferred, with up to 10% travel. On-site work in the Charlotte area is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or architectural engineering; PE licensure in a U.S. state is required.
• 5+ years of industry experience in structural design and modifications.
• Experience with structural analysis software and coordination with architects.

Responsibilities

• Structurally design and analyze framing and foundations for various facilities.
• Evaluate deficiencies and provide rational solutions.
• Collaborate with REVIT technicians for plans and details.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and site observations during construction.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.
