Job summary

Selectek, Inc. in the Charlotte, NC area is actively seeking a Structural Project Engineer to design and oversee a variety of building projects. The role may also involve work from Richmond, VA or Bethesda, MD areas as needed. Base salary relevant to experience and PE status.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering, 5+ years of design experience across materials, and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; PE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years designing with a variety of materials including steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and familiarity with applicable codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC).
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience with Bentley RAM Steel, RAM Concept, Elements etc.

Responsibilities

• Work on a wide range of new and existing building design projects including Commercial, Retail, Government, Hospitality, Education, Multi-Family and Historic.
• Work within a team structure on larger projects and also manage projects.
• Engineering analysis and design of new and existing structures.
• Guiding and overseeing junior staff on projects.

We are hiring for a Structural Project Engineer in the Charlotte, NC area. We will also consider candidates that can work out of the Richmond, VA or Bethesda, MD area.

Base Salary relevant to experience, education and PE status.

Requirements

• Preferred: PE
