Job summary

Campos EPC, LLC in Minneapolis invites an Engineer I to perform structural analysis and coordinate designs for steel, concrete, and foundations on large facility projects.

You will develop calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports, applying ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, and ACI, and work with civil, geotechnical, mechanical, and other teams. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 0+ years of experience (Engineer I).
• Design experience or courses in structural steel and/or concrete design.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Experience working independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience using AutoCAD, RISA-3D, STAAD Pro, Mathcad, L-Pile, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and Excel.
• Experience with ASCE 7, IBC, AISC and ACI.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and coordinate design for steel, concrete, and foundations.
• Develop structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Apply ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, and ACI; coordinate with civil, geotechnical, mechanical, piping, electrical, and process disciplines.
• Aide senior engineers in support of large facility projects.
• Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide construction phase support.
• Minimal field time; travel may be required occasionally.

• Perform Structural engineering analysis and coordinate detailed design for steel, concrete, and foundation systems
• Develop structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
• Apply applicable codes and standards including ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, and ACI. Coordinate structural designs with civil, geotechnical, mechanical, piping, electrical, and process disciplines
• Aide senior engineers in support of large facility projects
• Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide construction phase support
• Minimal field time and/or travel is expected but may be required at times

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• 0+ Years of experience (Engineer I)
• Design experience or courses in structural steel and/or concrete design.
• EIT certification preferred
• Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Experience using the following software required: AutoCAD, RISA-3D, STAAD Pro, Mathcad, L-Pile, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and Excel
• Experience with industry standards such as: ASCE 7, IBC, AISC and ACI
