Job summary

Farnsworth Group, a nationally recognized architectural engineering and surveying firm, is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team. You will provide customer-oriented design and construction services to clients nationwide, with growth opportunities across projects.

Key requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering, 3–7 years’ structural experience, and proficiency with typical construction materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering with emphasis in structures.
• 3–7 years of structural engineering experience; PE/SE licensure preferred.
• Experience with design and construction administration of building structures.
• Experience designing with steel, concrete, masonry and/or wood.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment; can manage several projects.
• Leadership qualities with ability to teach/train others.
• Revit proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building structures and related systems
• Develop construction documents and provide construction administration services
• Perform site visits, client meetings and coordination with the project team
