Job summary
Thornton Tomasetti is seeking an entry-level Engineer in our Structural Practice to perform structural analysis, design, and detailing for diverse building types. You will contribute to projects from high-rise to cultural facilities while learning core engineering principles in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
You will create construction documents in a BIM environment, work with seasoned engineers, and travel as needed within the US and internationally to support project
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Familiarity with structural analysis/design tools such as SAP2000, ETABS, RAM, StructurePoint and Revit is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a detail-oriented, learning mindset.

- Perform structural analysis, design and detailing for all building types.
- Create construction documents in a BIM environment.
- Learn from and grow with experienced engineers in a multidisciplinary team.
- Communicate clearly with teammates and project partners.
