Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a structural engineer to join our team in Baltimore, focusing on real‑world building investigations and structural design.

You will work from field inspections through drawings, specs, and construction administration, not just calculations. You’ll collaborate with the structural group on investigations, modeling, analysis, and cost estimating, using Tedds, Tekla Structural Designer, REVIT, and AutoCAD while pursuing PE licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural or architectural engineering with a structural focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections of building structures and conditions.
• Complete structural calculations, modeling, and analysis for building projects.
• Prepare contract drawings and structural detail sheets.
• Develop project specifications and calculation packages.
• Estimate and prepare construction cost estimates for structural work.
• Review structural shop drawings for conformance and constructability.
• Carry out construction administration duties for structural projects.
• Maintain organized and complete project records.
• Handle day‑to‑day project administration tasks.
• Communicate clearly with internal team members and external clients.
• Manage workload with strong organization and attention to detail.
• Perform occasional elevated/aerial work during inspections.
