Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer with 2–10 years of building design experience to support structural analysis, design, and construction documentation for a variety of building projects.

The role involves performing analyses for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood systems, preparing calculations and drawings, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring compliance with codes and standards. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• 2–10 years of structural engineering experience, preferably in building design.
• EIT certification or PE license preferred.
• Knowledge of building codes and structural design standards.
• Experience with structural analysis software such as RISA, RAM, ETABS, or similar programs.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood building systems.
• Prepare structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project teams.
• Apply applicable building codes, design standards, and engineering best practices.
• Review shop drawings and submittals, respond to RFIs, and assist with construction administration.
• Conduct site visits and evaluate existing structures as needed.
• Support project coordination, quality control, and timely project delivery.
