Job summary

TYLin Buildings in Chicago is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join our team. The role involves performing structural design and analysis for a variety of building projects, supporting the project team from concept through completion.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil or Architectural Engineering degree with 0–3 years of experience, familiarity with REVIT Structure and structural analysis software, and a strong client-focused, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (structures focus preferred).
• Master’s Degree would be considered an asset.
• Passing of E.I.T. exam preferred.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in execution of commercial, institutional, or residential projects preferred.
• Familiarity with REVIT Structure preferred.
• Familiarity with computer analysis software (e.g. RISA, SAP, RAM) preferred.
• Client-focused and committed to delivering the best solutions for clients.
• Strong integrity and ethical approach in all work.
• Demonstrated collaboration in diverse, inclusive teams toward technical excellence.

Additional Information

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $36.00-$40.00 per hour for this position and local market.
