Job summary

TYLin's Buildings team delivers structural engineering for new and renovated buildings worldwide. This role focuses on design and analysis across materials, coordinating with staff and clients, and contributing to robust, sustainable solutions.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years of building project experience, proficient use of analysis tools, and a client-focused mindset. Master’s degree and PE/S.E. licensure are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• Master's Degree would be considered an asset.
• P.E. license preferred; S.E. license would be considered an asset.
• 3-6 years of experience in the execution of residential, commercial, or institutional buildings projects as a Structural Engineer is required.
• Experience in historic buildings preservation would be considered an asset.
• Proficiency with computer analysis software (e.g. RISA, SAP, RAM).
• Working knowledge of REVIT.
• Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.

Responsibilities

Job Summary TYLin's Buildings team brings creativity and technical excellence to new and existing buildings around the world. Our primary services, structural engineering for buildings, include new construction projects, as well as renovation, adaptive reuse, and historic preservation. Within that broad range, we offer further expertise in specific services including architectural services, code consulting, façade engineering, lightweight structures, and construction support services.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Additional Information

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of$70,000 - $100,000 annually for this position and local market. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of skills, experience, education and competencies to the table that will be reflected in our offer.
