Job summary

MFS Engineers & Surveyors in South Plainfield, NJ is seeking a Structural Engineer to perform design, analyses, and investigations for buildings, bridges, and site structures, under the supervision of the Structural Principal Engineer and Project Manager. Requires a BS in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years of experience, proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit and RISA, knowledge of NYC Building Code, and strong technical writing and communication skills.

In-person work at HQ.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required and 3+ years of professional structural engineering design experience.
• Experience in analysis of underground and above ground site structures and foundations.
• Field experience with structural inspections and evaluations of historic and commercial facilities.
• Design experience with steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
• Knowledge of NYC Building Code and related design codes.
