Job summary

MFS Engineers & Surveyors in South Plainfield, NJ seeks a Structural Senior Project Manager to lead and supervise our structural design team. You will manage projects from schematic to final design, prepare drawings and calculations, and oversee QA/QC and client communications.

This in-person role requires a PE license in NJ/NY, 20+ years of experience, and strong leadership and writing skills. Salary range $175k-$225k; full benefits available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• PE license required in NJ and/or NY.
• Minimum 20 years structural design/construction experience.
• Experience managing structural projects and teams.
• Knowledge of federal codes and local ordinances.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ability to develop structural fee proposals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Background check required.
• Must have valid driver''s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage structural engineering projects.
• Supervise structural engineers and CAD operators.
• Prepare final structural drawings, calculations, and specs.
• Conduct QA/QC and monitor budgets and profitability.
• Develop proposals and manage client relationships.
• Oversee field inspections and investigations.
• Collaborate with principal engineer and cross-discipline teams.
