Job summary

HDR is seeking a Structural Engineer in Montana to contribute to a collaborative, employee-owned culture. You will review documents, perform calculations, and coordinate the structural design through development and construction phases, ensuring code compliance and timely delivery.

The role requires a Civil/Structural Engineering degree and PE license, with 3+ years of engineering experience and proficiency in industry software.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required or equivalent.
PE or P.Eng license required.
Experience as structural engineer with relevant software and firm background.

Responsibilities

Review structural documents for conflicts with other disciplines.
Write and edit structural specifications and perform calculations.
Coordinate the structural design team through design development and CD phases.
Communicate with governing agencies for code compliance.
Lead design development and site sessions with PM and other disciplines.
Coordinate workload through design development and construction document phases.
Incorporate changes from addenda, RFIs, change proposals and change orders.
Perform other duties as needed.
