Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus.
• 3–5 years of post-education structural engineering experience.
• Engineer in Training certification.
• Knowledge of structural engineering principles and design/build practices.
• Strong communication and professional interaction with audiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design calculations, drawings, reports, project standards and specs.
• Assist with execution and provide technical support on water & energy projects.
• Perform field inspections with senior engineers including dams safety checks.
• Develop quantity take-offs and engineering cost estimates.
• Prepare reports conforming to regulatory guidelines.
• Assist with scoping of small- to medium-sized projects.
• Assist in site HASP development and implementation.
• Adhere to company code of conduct and policies.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required.
