Job summary

Konecranes, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Structural Engineer to design and support crane runway systems, perform stress calculations, and provide expert structural guidance during quoting, installation, and commissioning.

You will use RISA 3D and CAD tools, ensure compliance with ASCE/IBC, and collaborate with the Industrial Crane and Product Engineering team reporting to the manager. Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Structural or Civil Engineering, EIT, 3–5 years, and experience with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or Civil).
• EIT certification with plans or desire to obtain a PE license.
• 3-5 years of related industry experience.
• Knowledge of ASCE, IBC codes and seismic conditions.
• Experience with Excel and CAD programs.
• EOT cranes experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations to compute stresses in crane runway structures.
• Evaluate static/dynamic strength and fatigue life of steel runway structures for US/Canada.
• Use RISA 3D and in-house tools to perform structural calculations per AISC/ASCE/CSA/CMAA.
• Provide onsite support during installation, commissioning, and warranty periods.
• Assist during quotation phase with design guidance and options.
