Job summary

Konecranes is hiring a Mechanical or Structural Engineer in New Berlin, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of experience in conducting analytical calculations for steel equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s or PhD preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in mechanical/structural calculations.
• Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical calculations on structural components of cranes.
• Build detailed 3-D models to simulate behavior during seismic events.
• Evaluate the strength and fatigue life of crane components.
