Job summary
Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Structural Engineer to provide technical design for a range of projects within the Buildings structural engineering group in Chicago, IL.
The engineer will perform design, execution, and delivery in collaboration with a Project Engineer or Principal, ensuring quality throughout the design process to meet clients’ needs and expectations. The role requires an accredited engineering degree, a minimum of 3 years in the industry, and preferred FE/EIT
Qualifications
- Accredited engineering degree or equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum 3 years related industry experience.
- FE or EIT or other professional license preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develops and advances structural analysis, design, documentation, and construction administration for building projects.
- Participates in project meetings, workshops, and site observations to support project delivery.
- Follows quality management processes; conducts project reviews prior to QA/QC by the technical authority.
- Coordinates with all disciplines to integrate work and client requests into design.
- Mentors for advancing technical and people skills and for delivering high-quality engineering work.
