Requires a Civil/Structural E degree and an active PE license; 3+ years of structural experience and Revit Structural familiarity are preferred. Local candidates are favored, and the role is based in North Carolina.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required or recognized by the licensing board for the position location.
• Experience at an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review structural documents for conflicts with other disciplines.
• Write and edit structural specifications and select procedures and materials; determine sizes.
• Complete necessary structural calculations.
• Coordinate the structural design team through design development and contract document phases.
• Lead meetings and reviews with governing agencies for code compliance.
• Present design development and CD work sessions on-site with the Project Manager and other disciplines.
• Coordinate workload to complete documents on schedule.
• Coordinate with affected disciplines and handle addenda, RFIs, change orders and incorporate agreed-upon changes.
