General Description

High Structural Erectors, located in Lancaster, PA, is seeking a Structural Engineer for Bridge Erection. This role involves collaborating with the field operations team to develop installation calculations and procedures for heavy civil projects, including steel and precast concrete bridge superstructures, parking structures, and architectural cladding. Responsibilities include producing sealed calculations for staged construction plans, including rigging and fixture design.

Experience, Training, and/or Education Required

• Preference for experience focused on bridge and heavy highway structures.
• Professional Engineer or Structural Engineer license, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Progressive experience in steel and precast concrete design, bridge design, or erection engineering is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective teamwork.
• Experience working directly with erection personnel to provide engineering directives.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MathCAD, STAADPro/SAP2000, RISA, or similar software.
• Knowledge of governing standards such as AASHTO, AWS, AISC, AREMA, ASTM, PCI, and Owner Standard Specifications.
