What you'll be challenged to do:
The Philadelphia area offices seek a highly motivated Structural/Bridge Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in bridge design to join our established transportation practice. In this role you will be responsible for the successful performance of structural design/analysis of bridges along with the preparation of construction plans, project specifications, and quantity/cost estimates. You will also work closely with other teams on multi-disciplinary projects, including bridge, roadway, traffic, rail, site, and public transit.
It is expected that you will function as a lead technical design engineer and depending on level of experience, you may also serve as the Project Manager of various projects. It is expected that you will work independently and will supervise the work of less experienced engineers and mentor them as you help to develop their technical and inter-personal skills.
You will be mentored by our senior staff and have the opportunity to engage and assist with new project pursuits, including Qualifications and Technical Proposal preparation, Scope of Service and Fee Proposal development, and networking opportunities through professional society events.
