Job summary

Thornton Tomasetti is seeking an Engineer in our Structural Practice in Washington, DC. You will perform structural analysis, design, and detailing for diverse buildings, contributing to high-rise, cultural, stadium, and healthcare projects while growing technical and creative skills in a collaborative team.

You’ll gain real-world experience, work in a multidisciplinary environment, and learn to apply core engineering principles with mentorship from senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP2000, ETABS, RAM, StructurePoint Software and Revit is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a willingness to learn and grow through feedback.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to apply core engineering concepts and check work carefully.

Responsibilities
