Job summary

Cordoba Corporation is seeking a Structural Engineer Associate in Los Angeles, CA. You will perform moderately complex structural engineering tasks across planning, design, construction, maintenance, and operations for facilities and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing plans, specifications, and cost estimates, supporting contract administration, and ensuring compliance with codes. Preferred PE certification and CA licensure are valued as the role progresses.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in structural engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in structural or civil engineering with specialization in structural engineering.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze and review design plans, specifications, estimates and reports to comply with guidelinesset by federal, state and local agencies.
• Review structural services required of engineering consultants and architects and provide revisions and recommendations.
• Assist in the design and layout of foundation, floor, wall and roof framing plans for major structures.
• Analyze environmental data to inform foundation design and performance.
• Prepare feasibility studies and cost estimates for proposed structures.
