Job summary

Kapur & Associates is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our Transportation Department in Milwaukee, WI or Madison, WI. You will develop design solutions for structure projects, perform analyses, and prepare reports and specifications.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in civil engineering (structural emphasis), 5 years of related work, and familiarity with bridge design and CAD software. PE license is a plus, WisDOT experience a bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a structural emphasis.
• 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Familiarity with AASHTO Bridge Design Specifications and bridge design experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, and specifications.
• Design and review design related calculations, reports, plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with internal project teams and clients to address issues or concerns related to design.
