Kapur & Associates is seeking a dedicated Staff Engineer to join our Site Design team in Madison, WI. The role focuses on plan production, site grading, and utility design using Civil 3D, under the supervision of a Professional Engineer (PE) to deliver high‑quality engineering solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a civil engineering bachelor’s degree and brings 1–4 years of site design experience, with a strong grasp of regulations and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D software is desirable.
• 1–4 years of site design and land development experience.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and design of civil engineering projects.
• Perform grading and utility design using Civil 3D software.
• Collaborate with the Site Design team to develop project plans, specifications, and estimates.
• Conduct site visits and field inspections to gather data and assess project requirements.
• Review projects to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Support the PE in various engineering tasks and project management activities.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
