Job summary

Kapur & Associates seeks an experienced Structural Engineer to join the Transportation Department in Milwaukee, WI or Madison, WI. You will develop design solutions for structural projects and perform analyses, reports, designs, and specifications.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in civil engineering with a structural emphasis, 5 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with AASHTO bridge design specifications and CAD software. PE license is preferred and WisDOT project experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a structural emphasis.
• 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Familiarity with AASHTO Bridge Design Specifications.
• Experience and familiarity with bridge design and CAD software.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Prior experience on WisDOT bridge design projects will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, and specifications.
• Design and review design related calculations, reports, plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with internal project teams and clients to address issues or concerns related to design.
