Job summary

Marmon Holdings, our client backed by Berkshire Hathaway, seeks an engineer to support structural design and analysis of air-handling systems, chillers, pressure vessels, piping, trailers, and portable shelters. You will evaluate structural integrity under seismic, wind, snow, and live loads while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
  • 3+ years' experience in seismic, stress, or structural analysis
  • 3+ years' working experience with ANSYS Workbench and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Software
  • Strong ability to perform Modal Analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Perform structural calculations using FEA tools and hand methods in accordance with applicable codes

  • Develop and maintain structural design standards
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, subcontractors, and customers

About the Role

In this role, you will support the structural design and analysis of air-handling systems, chillers, pressure vessels, piping systems, trailers, and portable shelters. Your work will focus on evaluating structural integrity under seismic, wind, snow, and live loads, as well as piping expansion.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

  • Experience with ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code
  • Knowledge of IEEE standards
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure

Pay range and compensation package

Location: Greater Cincinnati, OH area (Will provide relocation assistance)

On-site position

Travel: Up to 10% domestically and internationally

Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background check required

Authorization to work in the United States required
