Job summary

Baisch Engineering, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Structural Engineer to design industrial facilities, with emphasis on steel and concrete systems and equipment supports.

You will collaborate with process and electrical teams to deliver fully-integrated solutions for brownfield and new facility projects. The role requires EIT/PE within first year preferred, strong design judgment, and the ability to lead a small team of designers and drafters while meeting budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Have an EIT, PE registration or ability to obtain within the first year is preferred
• Make design decisions to keep projects moving forward
• Manage your tasks within the proposed budget and schedule
• Design industrial facilities from top to bottom and everything in between – equipment supports and foundations using concrete, steel, and masonry
• Work collaboratively with Baisch's process and electrical departments to provide fully-integrated solutions to our clients' needs
• Provide input and opinions for creative solutions to unique situations, especially in brown field and existing facilities
• Review and stamp design documents
• Manage a team of designers and drafters
