Job summary

Baisch Engineering Inc. is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer with steel and concrete design experience for the industrial and manufacturing sector. The role requires strong communication skills, independent work, and the ability to lead small design teams.

Pulp and paper experience is a bonus. The successful candidate will design facilities from top to bottom, coordinate with process and electrical teams, and review and stamp technical documents.

Qualifications

• Must have EIT certification and be eligible for design responsibilities.
• Proven ability to make design decisions to keep projects moving forward.
• Capable of managing tasks within budget and schedule.
• Experience designing industrial facilities using concrete, steel, and masonry.
• Collaborate with process and electrical teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Provide input for creative solutions in brownfield and existing facilities.
• Review and stamp design documents and drawings.
• Lead a team of designers and drafters.
