Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join its engineering team. The role focuses on design and analysis of floating and fixed marine structures across commercial, industrial, and waterfront environments.

The candidate will perform structural analyses, evaluate sites, review plans, and develop design packages while collaborating with fabrication, construction, and project management teams to deliver practical engineering solutions. PE license is preferred or in-progress.

Qualifications

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex projects supporting the design and analysis of floating and fixed marine structures across commercial, industrial, and waterfront environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis for a variety of marine and waterfront structures.
• Evaluate project sites and establish environmental and structural design criteria.
• Review plans, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure project requirements are achieved.
• Develop engineering calculations, reports, and design packages.
• Collaborate closely with fabrication, construction, and project management teams to deliver practical engineering solutions.
• Interface with clients throughout project execution and provide technical guidance.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to support successful project completion.
• Support innovation and continuous improvement through the application of modern engineering practices and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Structural, Ocean, or Coastal Engineering.
• Strong background in structural analysis and engineering calculations.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; candidates pursuing licensure will also be considered depending on experience level.
• Familiarity with structural analysis software, CAD platforms, and engineering design tools.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients, project teams, and field personnel.
• Experience in marine, coastal, waterfront, maritime, or heavy civil infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
