Manpower Group (USA) is assisting a client in Houston, TX, to recruit a Structural Engineer. The role focuses on developing designs and performing analyses for steel structures, pipe racks, and foundations across facilities and upgrades.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years in industrial structural engineering, proficiency with relevant codes, and strong communication to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Engineering emphasis.
• 3+ years of relevant structural engineering experience in industrial, energy, petrochemical, midstream, or related facilities.
• Experience with structural steel and reinforced concrete design.
• Knowledge of ASCE 7, IBC, ACI, AISC, OSHA requirements for industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural designs and engineering solutions for new facilities, expansions, upgrades, and integrity-driven projects.
• Perform structural analysis and design for steel structures, equipment supports, pipe racks, platforms, buildings, and foundations.
• Prepare engineering calculations, specifications, and design documentation in accordance with industry codes and standards.
• Analyze structural loading conditions including dead, live, wind, seismic, thermal, and equipment loads.
• Support multidisciplinary project teams during planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
