Tanner Engineering LLC is seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to join our growing team in Indiana. You will work on industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects from concept through construction support, collaborating with clients and engineers across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis.
• Active pursuit of Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
• Proficient in 3D CAD; AutoCAD MEP experience preferred.
• Experience with structural analysis software is a plus (RISA or similar).

Responsibilities

• Perform civil and structural engineering design for industrial and commercial facilities.
• Develop 3D models and engineering drawings.
• Design structural steel, reinforced concrete, foundations, equipment supports, platforms, stairs, and miscellaneous steel.
• Assist with grading, drainage, utility, and site development projects.
• Participate in field investigations, site visits, and construction observations.
• Coordinate with mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction documents.
• Work directly with clients and contractors throughout all phases of project development.

About the Position

We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to join our growing engineering team. We specialize in industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects, providing engineering services from conceptual planning through final design and construction support. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of challenging projects while developing professionally under the guidance of experienced Professional Engineers.

The ideal candidate will work directly with clients on projects from concept through construction.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil and structural engineering design for industrial and commercial facilities.


• Develop 3D models and engineering drawings.
