I'm recruiting on behalf of a respected and design-forward structural engineering firm based in Dallas, TX, currently seeking a Structural Project Engineer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a licensed PE with 4-7 years of experience who is eager to work on a diverse and technically challenging portfolio of projects.

The firm is known for its collaborative culture, technical rigor, and commitment to delivering innovative structural solutions. The successful candidate will contribute to projects across a wide range of sectors, including:

  • Mission Critical Facilities
  • Commercial & Retail Developments
  • Residential (Multi- and Single-Family)

  • Seismic Retrofit & Resiliency Projects

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead structural design and analysis from concept through construction.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure integrated project delivery.
  • Prepare structural drawings, calculations, and specifications.
  • Conduct site visits and provide construction-phase support.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • PE license (required) in Texas or ability to obtain promptly.
  • 4-7 years of experience in structural engineering for buildings.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis/design software (e.g., ETABS, RAM, RISA, Revit).
  • Strong knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, and seismic design principles.
  • Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
  • Experience with seismic retrofit or performance-based design is a plus.
