This role as a structural engineer is fully remote and hands-on, offering the opportunity to work at various job sites daily. If you're tired of the office and crave fresh air, this is the perfect fit for you.

What You Will Be Doing

• Inspect buildings for damage such as roofs, foundations, and water issues.
• Write reports detailing your findings during inspections.
• Be helpful and friendly to clients and colleagues.
• Present findings in court if needed, with support from the company's legal team.
• Engage in additional training; the company will cover the costs.
• Work extra hours during busy periods.
• Travel to various locations for work, with overnight stays as required.

What You Need for this Position

• Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in your state.
• Ability to obtain a specific engineering certification within 90 days.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Preferably, 2-3 years of experience in failure analysis or related areas.
• Valid driver's license with a good record.
• Proficiency in technical writing and Microsoft Word.
• Familiarity with basic computer tools like Microsoft Calendar, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong customer service skills, teamwork, and a service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work independently in a remote (home office) setting.
• Reliable home internet connection and cell phone service.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Pass a pre-employment physical examination.
