Martin/Martin, Inc. is hiring a Structural Engineer in Training (EIT) for our Kansas City office. The role offers exposure to a broad range of structural materials and project types, including new buildings and existing investigations/retrofits.

The position involves calculations, drawings, construction administration, and site visits, with collaboration across owners, architects, and contractors. Growth through mentorship and PE/SE licensure support is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ABET accredited engineering required.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to work in the Kansas City area; relocation assistance may be provided.
• Has passed FE Examination.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and drawing development.
• Assist in construction administration tasks and site visits.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, and contractors.
• Learn and apply building codes and project requirements.
• Review shop drawings and product submittals.
• Support multiple project types and materials.
