Job summary

United Launch Alliance (ULA) seeks a Structural Dynamics Engineer to perform dynamic response analysis for launch vehicles and structures. The role requires developing and validating models, defining loads, and collaborating with spacecraft teams in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a STEM degree and hands-on experience with FEA tools and MATLAB/Python, plus strong communication skills for cross-functional results delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field from an accredited college or university.
• Experience or coursework in structural dynamics/vibrations and FEA.
• Experience or coursework developing software for engineering applications.
• Experience or coursework in MATLAB and Python.
• Experience with Linear Algebra and FEA.

Responsibilities

• Define design loads, accelerations, and displacements with spacecraft teams.
• Perform dynamic response analysis for boosters, upper stages, and structures.
• Develop, document, and maintain analysis processes and tools.
• Analyze and correlate dynamic models; support integration and testing.
• Present results to internal and external customers; communicate findings.
