Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM is seeking an experienced engineer to join the Test Engineering Group (V-14) for system-level testing, experimental design, and fabrication across a range of campaigns, collaborating with W- and Q-Divisions and NNSS.

The position will be filled at R&D Engineer 2 or 3, with responsibilities including planning complex MIMO tests, analyzing results, building FEM models, and contributing to a shared code base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 4 years related experience.
• Master's Degree in Engineering and 6 years related experience; PhD may be preferred.
• Active Q clearance and US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute complex MIMO tests.
• Analyze test results to guide test execution and perform post-test analyses.
• Build finite element models and update them based on test results.
• Provide technical leadership for R&D Engineer 3 level tasks.
