Job summary

Race Rock is seeking a Structural Detailing Project Manager to convert engineering designs into accurate shop drawings for highway guardrail and steel structures. The role coordinates across Sales, Engineering, Drafting, Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Management.

The candidate will manage bridge rail, guardrail, solar projects from contract review through production and closeout, requiring strong detailing and project-management skills, plus knowledge of structural fabrication practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of structural steel detailing experience.
• Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder projects within fabrication/construction.
• Ability to read contracts and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office, including Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts and drawings to interpret project requirements and deliverables.
• Prepare shop drawings and production-ready documentation using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain schedules.
• Manage project plans, milestones, deliverables, and customer communications.
• Support fabrication and production with technical clarifications and changes.
